The Surveyor will be responsible for conducting land and construction surveys to ensure accurate layout alignment and positioning of precast components and other project elements. The role requires precision technical knowledge and collaboration with engineers and site teams to maintain project quality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Survey Data Collection & Site Preparation:

Conduct site surveys to establish reference points benchmarks and grid lines for accurate placement of precast components.

Review project drawings to understand survey requirements and ensure proper positioning of precast elements on-site.
Precast Component Layout & Installation Support:

Set out precise locations for precast elements (panels beams columns) based on construction drawings and specifications.
-
Provide measurements markers and guidelines to installation teams for accurate placement.
-
Monitor alignment elevation and position of precast elements to ensure compliance with design tolerances.
Verification & Quality Control:

Verify accurate positioning and alignment of installed components and provide feedback on discrepancies.

Conduct periodic checks to ensure installed elements meet project standards.

Collaborate with quality control teams and engineers to address alignment or dimensional issues.
Collaboration & Communication:

Work closely with engineers project managers and installation teams to resolve on-site survey or installation issues.

Communicate survey results progress and challenges to project stakeholders.

Report discrepancies in measurements site conditions or installation processes for resolution.
Documentation & Reporting:

Record and document survey data layout measurements and installation progress.

Prepare detailed reports and as-built drawings for review by senior surveyors engineers and project managers.

Archive survey data and documentation for future reference and regulatory compliance.
Future Use: Applicable to surveying in infrastructure roadworks and building projects.
Requirements

Diploma or Bachelors degree in Surveying Civil Engineering or related field.

36 years of experience in construction or land surveying.

Proficiency with surveying instruments and software (Total Station GPS AutoCAD or similar).

Strong knowledge of layout alignment and dimensional accuracy procedures.

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
