Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detailoriented Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team in Riyadh Saudi Arabia. As a key member of our construction projects you will play a crucial role in managing costs contracts and financial aspects of our operations.

  • Prepare accurate cost estimates for construction projects considering materials labor and equipment
  • Conduct onsite measurements and quantity takeoffs to ensure precision in cost calculations
  • Analyze contract documents drawings and specifications to identify potential cost implications
  • Manage contract administration including change orders variations and claims
  • Prepare and review interim and final payment applications
  • Collaborate with project managers contractors and suppliers to optimize project costs
  • Monitor project budgets and forecast cash flow requirements
  • Prepare regular cost reports and financial statements for management review
  • Assist in the resolution of contractual and financial disputes
  • Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations in Riyadh and Saudi Arabia
  • Participate in value engineering exercises to identify costsaving opportunities
  • Provide expert advice on procurement strategies and contract negotiations

Qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree in Quantity Surveying Construction Management or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in quantity surveying preferably in the Saudi Arabian construction industry
  • Proficiency in quantity surveying software (e.g. CostX Buildsoft)
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Indepth knowledge of construction methods materials and industry standards
  • Proven experience in cost estimation contract administration and project management
  • Thorough understanding of Saudi Arabian building codes regulations and construction laws
  • Familiarity with international construction contracts (e.g. FIDIC)
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced construction environment
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Knowledge of Saudi Arabian construction standards and regulations
  • Arabic language skills preferred
  • Willingness to work onsite and travel within Saudi Arabia as required
