Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and detailoriented Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team in Riyadh Saudi Arabia. As a key member of our construction projects you will play a crucial role in managing costs contracts and financial aspects of our operations.
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for construction projects considering materials labor and equipment
- Conduct onsite measurements and quantity takeoffs to ensure precision in cost calculations
- Analyze contract documents drawings and specifications to identify potential cost implications
- Manage contract administration including change orders variations and claims
- Prepare and review interim and final payment applications
- Collaborate with project managers contractors and suppliers to optimize project costs
- Monitor project budgets and forecast cash flow requirements
- Prepare regular cost reports and financial statements for management review
- Assist in the resolution of contractual and financial disputes
- Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations in Riyadh and Saudi Arabia
- Participate in value engineering exercises to identify costsaving opportunities
- Provide expert advice on procurement strategies and contract negotiations
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Quantity Surveying Construction Management or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quantity surveying preferably in the Saudi Arabian construction industry
- Proficiency in quantity surveying software (e.g. CostX Buildsoft)
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Indepth knowledge of construction methods materials and industry standards
- Proven experience in cost estimation contract administration and project management
- Thorough understanding of Saudi Arabian building codes regulations and construction laws
- Familiarity with international construction contracts (e.g. FIDIC)
- Ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced construction environment
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Knowledge of Saudi Arabian construction standards and regulations
- Arabic language skills preferred
- Willingness to work onsite and travel within Saudi Arabia as required
