Job Summary
About the role:
Our client an international law firm is looking for a skilled Research Analyst to join their Market & Business Development team. Reporting to the Associate Director you will be responsible for delivering in-depth research and competitive intelligence that supports business development enhances client retention and identifies new market opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth research and analysis on companies industries competitors and market trends
- Synthesize data from various sources (e.g. PitchBook CapIQ CRM) into clear concise reports and presentations
- Monitor political economic and legal industry trends to identify new business opportunities
- Support practice groups with competitive intelligence and client profiling to aid in client development efforts
- Provide general research and reference services to support strategic initiatives
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Marketing Business Finance Economics or a related field
- 2 years in a research or analytical role; professional services or law firm experience preferred
- Strong proficiency in research tools such as PitchBook and CapIQ along with solid Microsoft Office skills is essential
- Strong analytical and data storytelling skills; Power BI experience a plus
- Proficiency in English is essential while Mandarin language skills would be a significant advantage
