Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Machine Learning Engineer to join our team remotely. You will design develop deploy and maintain ML models and data pipelines that enhance our product offerings. Youll work closely with software engineers product managers and data professionals to integrate intelligent features such as predictive analytics recommendation anomaly detection or automated content classification into SoSimples CMS CRM marketing and communications platform.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with product engineering and design teams to identify opportunities for machine learning applications in our platform.

Collect clean and preprocess data from diverse sources (user interactions website logs CRM databases etc.).

Design build test and deploy ML models (supervised unsupervised or semi-supervised as appropriate).

Develop feature engineering pipelines; experiment with different algorithms and architectures.

Ensure model performance robustness and scalability for production use.

Monitor and maintain deployed models including tracking model drift bias and retraining as needed.

Work on A/B tests or experiments to evaluate model improvements.

Integrate machine learning outputs into our web and back-end systems ensuring efficient secure and maintainable code.

Ensure ML infrastructure is reliable and maintainable; assist with tooling (data pipelines monitoring logging).

Documentation: write clear technical documentation of modeling decisions datasets API interfaces etc.

Stay current with ML research and best practices propose improvements or new features to keep our product competitive.

Required Qualifications

Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Data Science Machine Learning Statistics or related field.

Several years (e.g. 2-5) of professional experience developing and deploying ML models in production environments.

Strong programming skills in Python (or similar) including libraries such as Scikit-Learn TensorFlow PyTorch or equivalent.

Experience with data processing tools / frameworks (e.g. Pandas NumPy) and data pipelines / ETL.

Experience working with web / cloud-based infrastructure (AWS GCP Azure etc.) production deployment of services REST/APIs.

Experience or familiarity with SQL / NoSQL databases.

Good understanding of model evaluation metrics cross-validation overfitting / regularization bias/variance trade-offs.

Strong ability to work remotely: self-motivated good communication skills able to manage projects asynchronously.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience working with content management systems CRMs digital marketing / email / text communication systems.

Experience in AEC or education sectors or other verticals served by SoSimple.

Experience with automated marketing or campaign analytics.

Experience with deployment tools (Docker Kubernetes) continuous integration / deployment (CI/CD pipelines).

Knowledge of NLP (Natural Language Processing) or computer vision if relevant to future features.

Familiarity with monitoring tools ML Ops best practices.

Working Conditions & Remote Setup

Fully remote position; must have reliable high-speed internet and the ability to communicate effectively across remote channels (e.g. video calls chat).

Flexible hours but may require alignment with some core team hours (Eastern Time / CT zone).

Access to required hardware/software tools; company may provide licenses or reimburse as needed.

Occasional meetings sprint planning code reviews.
