Job Summary
Software Developer
- Seeking a skilled (4 years) Software Developer with hands-on experience in Kofax scanning solutions Laserfiche and VB6 development to design develop and maintain secure scalable applications within a Microsoft-based environment.
- The ideal candidate will leverage Visual Studio SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) and Azure DevOps to build and deploy solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams via Microsoft Teams.
- Responsibilities include developing integrations between document management systems implementing and automating scanning workflows providing production support troubleshooting issues with end-users and internal customers supporting Laserfiche customization and enhancements and producing technical documentation such as program specifications data models and architecture diagrams.
- Strong problem-solving skills experience with MS SQL and a commitment to writing clean efficient maintainable code are essential. Must be able to be on-site at OCIT Building a MINIMUM of two days a week.

Staffing Partners For this software developer position the following is additional information: - Virtual phone screens via MS Teams will be conducted for candidates selected from initial resume screening. An on-site interview at the OCIT building is the next step if selected for further consideration. - Only US citizens or workers with green cards are being considered. No temp visas or sponsorship can be expected from Oakland County. - Position is hybrid. 2 days expected in the office at Oakland County campus in Waterford Michigan. 3 days remote. - Kofax and VB6 are hard requirements. Candidates lacking these four hard technical requirements will most likely not be considered. - No rate above $99/hour will be considered unless candidate possesses unique qualifications but always refer to your submitted and approved rate cards for the Software Developer role.
