The Role
Position: Nursery Teacher
Location: Reading Berkshire
Start Date: January 2026
Contract: Permanent Full-Time or Part-Time considered
TLR: Available for subject or phase leadership (for the right candidate)
As our Nursery Teacher you will:
- Lead a nurturing nursery class that fosters independence and imagination
- Deliver a rich play-based curriculum rooted in the EYFS framework
- Observe assess and plan effectively for each childs development
- Build strong positive relationships with children families and colleagues
- (If applicable) Lead a subject area or phase contributing to whole-school development
What Were Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or equivalent)
- Experience in EYFS or nursery provision
- Strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and child-led learning
- Creativity warmth and enthusiasm for supporting early development
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to take on subject or phase leadership (if seeking a TLR)
