An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and dedicated Health & Social Care Teacher to join a high-achieving secondary school in Reading from January 2026. The Role
You will:
- Teach Health & Social Care across KS4 and KS5.
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons that combine theory with practical case studies.
- Support students in developing key skills such as empathy communication and professionalism.
- Contribute to continuous curriculum development and departmental improvement.
- Play an active role in mentoring and supporting learners through coursework and career guidance.
Experience and Qualifications
- A degree in Health & Social Care or a related subject.
- QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Proven ability to deliver engaging lessons and achieve excellent outcomes.
- A commitment to vocational excellence and inclusive education.
Salary
Paid to scale (MPS/UPS).
