Our client a well-regarded and academically ambitious 1118 secondary school in Lincoln is seeking a committed enthusiastic and forward-thinking Computer Science Teacher to join their thriving STEM Faculty from January 2026. The successful candidate will teach Computer Science across KS3KS5 helping students build strong programming foundations computational thinking problem-solving skills and an understanding of wider digital systems. Students follow a challenging and relevant curriculum including programming (Python) algorithms networking databases and software development.
The department runs a popular extracurricular programme featuring coding clubs robotics projects cyber-security challenges digital leadership teams and optional STEM enrichment pathways. This role would suit a teacher passionate about developing digital creativity and encouraging students to take risks and experiment with emerging technology.
Experience & Qualifications
QTS/PGCE with a degree in Computer Science or closely related field
Ability to teach Computer Science confidently at GCSE and A-Level
Strong programming expertise (Python essential; Java/C advantageous)
Experience with robotics AI or digital projects desirable
A genuine passion for digital education and innovation
Commitment to raising achievement and fostering confidence in young learners
