Job Description:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full-time Music Teacher to join a creative and supportive department in Huddersfield from January 2026.
Location: Huddersfield West Yorkshire
Start Date: January 2026
Salary: Paid on the MPS/UPS scale
What You Will Do:
- Teach Music across KS3 and KS4 including GCSE
- Lead ensembles and school performances
- Encourage musical creativity and technical skills
Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Music Teacher (QTS)
- Experienced in teaching a variety of musical styles and instruments
- Passionate about developing students musical talents
- Legal entitlement to work in the UK
About the School:
This Huddersfield school was formed in the early 1980s and has since built a thriving music department with specialist rooms and recording studios. It runs regular concerts and community events encouraging pupils to participate both in solo and ensemble settings.
