Job Description
Overview:
This role focuses on building and enforcing a data governance framework to ensure data quality compliance and effective management across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement data governance policies and standards.
Develop data classification ownership and lifecycle management processes.
Drive data quality management and compliance with regulations (HIPAA GDPR).
Manage metadata data catalogs lineage and documentation.
Lead governance forums and partner with security and technology teams.
Foster a culture of data stewardship and accountability.
Oversee governance tools and ensure consistent data management practices.

Requirements:
4 years of experience in data governance or management (leadership experience preferred).
Strong understanding of data privacy security and compliance standards.
Experience with data cataloging quality and governance tools.
Insurance industry experience a plus.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Bachelors or Masters in MIS Computer Science or related field.
Certifications such as CDMP or DM-BOK preferred.
