Job Summary

Position: Sr. Snowflake Java Developer

Location: NY (Onsite role)

Responsibilities

Important Note : CV Review Approach:
The hiring manager is reviewing CVs line by line and is specifically looking for detailed project-based experience. Generic CV jargon or high-level summaries are not helpful. Most CVs so far have shown stronger Python experience. For this role we need candidates with stronger Java experience especially in the context of Snowflake and Snowpark.
Mandatory Skills:
- Snowflake
- Java
- Snowpark
  These are non-negotiable. Candidates must have hands-on experience in all three.

Designing and driving execution of strategic data centric technologies solutions based on business requirements and firm-wide initiatives

Developing solutions and hands-on development in Snowflake using Java.

Hands-on development working alongside the team

Coordination with our DevOps teams platform engineers and production support to ensure the solutions created are maintainable in longer run.

Excellent knowledge of Snowflake features with acumen for solutioning.

Person should have knowledge of real time data scenarios and batch processing.

Person should have knowledge of Java for Snowpark and stored procedure execution.

Should be able to work independently and should have good communication and client interaction skills.

Person should have experience in implementing snowpipe tasks streams in Snowflake

Minimum Qualifications

BE/B Tech/MCA

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

Advanced-level experience developing modular solutions in Java.

Experience with Java AWS and Kafka

Complete SDLC process and Agile Methodology (Scrum)

Strong oral and written communication skills

Experience with building Java based procedures in Snowflake.

Experience with Apache Airflow for scheduling / job orchestration

Experience with developing Cloud-based Big Data solutions on AWS or Azure

Experience with Cloud Data Platforms like Snowflake
