Job Summary
The role of the Specialist DevOps Engineer is to develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and encompasses many activities including (but not limited to):
- Ensuring deployment automation and infrastructure processes.
- Monitoring and optimising system performance and reliability.
- Collaborating with development and operations teams.
- Implementing and managing configuration management tools.
- Ensuring system security and compliance.
- Troubleshooting and resolving deployment and production issues.
- Managing and maintaining cloud infrastructure.
- Implementing infrastructure as code (IaC) practices.
- Facilitating continuous integration and delivery practices.
Requirements
- NQF 6 or a Degree in Information Communication Technology (ICT) field incorporating (but not limited to) Information Systems;
- Microsoft certification or Oracle Certification or AWS security certification and
- Minimum of 6 years experience as a Senior DevOps Engineer.
Required Skills:
Minimum of 6 years experience as a Senior DevOps Engineer.
Required Education:
NQF 6 or a Degree in Information Communication Technology (ICT) field incorporating (but not limited to) Information Systems; Microsoft certification or Oracle Certification or AWS security certification.
