Job Summary
- Responsible for the renewal of cloud and managed service contracts.
- Assisting account managers and customers with quote generation pricing queries and contract renewal.
- Retaining and growing customer spend in cloud and managed services.
- Develop relationships with internal business areas and suppliers.
- Manage ongoing target metrics.
What success looks like
- Acknowledge emails and requests within 24 hours.
- Submit customer purchase orders for order placement and billing within 24 hours of receiving.
- Produce accurate quoting with no cost impact to CDW or customer.
- Produce quotes at least 45 days ahead of contract expiry.
- Update opportunities on a weekly basis.
- Submit orders with no missing or inaccurate information.
- Achieve renewal targets.
What you will do
- Maintain manage and grow spend in targeted renewals.
- Generating quotes and process orders for cloud and managed service contracts of varying size value and complexity.
- Working with key stakeholders to identify opportunities for upsell and cross sell.
- Dealing with 3rd parties.
- Liaising with Purchasing and Contract Management teams for ordering of 3rd party services.
- Navigating relevant tools and portals.
- Liaising with internal departments to confirm vital contract information.
- Use of internal tools for account management and order processing (Microsoft Navision CRM Great Plains).
- Establishing and developing peer to peer relationships within key vendors.
- Reconciling customer usage with billing data.
- Reconciling supplier billing with customer usage.
- Feedback on any operational issues that are preventing the continued growth and improvement of associated services.
- Provide feedback and openly embrace the future introduction of any additional vendors or services that are closely associated with existing activity.
- BDM and Sales team meeting attendance.
- Assisting internal teams in coordinating payment for suppliers and vendors.
- Correcting billing discrepancies.
- Mailbox management.
- Assist with report generation for management including: Pipeline Forecast Contract loss and cause
- Any additional activity as directed by management.
What we expect of you
- Previous administration experience in a similar role would be desirable.
- Demonstrable basic sales awareness.
- Experience working in a commercial environment is preferable.
- Self-motivated to achieve targets.
- A working knowledge of IT and cloud services is desirable.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with good attention to detail must be a confident communicator at all levels.
- PC literacy (Word Excel Outlook) with fast & accurate keyboard skills able to create and apply formulas.
- Ability to pick up new systems quickly.
- Self-starter and ability to work on own initiative with a proactive approach.
- Natural business acumen and ability to assimilate numbers/financials quickly.
- Experience on how to interface with vendors.
- Develop positive working relationships with internal and external customers.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
