Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced SAP Workflow Consultant to join our team for a high-impact project. The role focuses on delivering technical and functional support configuration and maintenance services for SAP R/3 ECC6 EHP7 and SAP S/4 HANA systems. You will be responsible for configuring and optimizing workflows across multiple SAP modules ensuring seamless integration with business processes and supporting both system upgrades and daily operations. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic project-driven environment alongside cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
Workflow Configuration & Customization: Design configure and implement workflows in key SAP modules (MM SD FI/CO HCM PM).
Technical & Functional Support: Provide expert support for SAP ECC6 EHP7 and S/4 HANA including debugging tuning and functional guidance.
System Maintenance: Monitor workflow performance resolve issues apply patches and support upgrades/migrations to S/4 HANA.
Requirements Analysis: Collaborate with business users to gather requirements review current processes and recommend workflow improvements.
Testing & Deployment: Prepare test scenarios conduct unit and integration testing support UAT and ensure smooth go-lives.
Documentation & Training: Create workflow documentation and deliver training to users and junior consultants.
Troubleshooting & Optimization: Resolve workflow-related errors bottlenecks and integration issues while optimizing for performance.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with ABAP developers Basis admins and functional consultants to meet project goals.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Bachelors degree in Computer Science IT Business or related field.
5 years SAP Workflow Consultant experience with expertise in ECC6 EHP7 and/or S/4 HANA.
Hands-on experience in at least 23 full lifecycle SAP implementations or support projects.
Prior exposure to SAP upgrades/migrations from ECC to S/4 HANA preferred.
Strong knowledge of workflow tools (SWDD BOR ABAP extensions) and debugging utilities (SWIA SWI1).
Familiarity with IDOCs RFCs BAPIs Web Services for workflow automation.
Deep functional knowledge of business processes supported by SAP workflows (procurement invoicing HR plant maintenance).
Preferred Qualifications
SAP Workflow or Business Workflow certification.
SAP module certifications (e.g. MM SD FI/CO HCM).
Experience with SAP Fiori workflow approvals and integration with tools such as Ariba or SuccessFactors.
Knowledge of Agile methodologies and modern project delivery practices.
