Job Summary

The role of the Senior Cloud FinOps Administrator encompasses many activities including (but not limited to):

Providing expertise in optimizing infrastructure cost management resource utilization MOA Management and reporting of all cloud environments;
Monitoring and managing cloud spending and budgets
Analysing cloud usage and cost data for optimization
Implementing cost-saving strategies and practices
Collaborating with finance and technical teams to align budgets and resources
Developing and enforcing cloud cost management policies
Providing detailed cost reports and forecasts
Identifying and mitigating financial risks in cloud services
Ensuring compliance with financial and cloud governance standards
Educating stakeholders on cloud financial management practices
Utilising tools and software for efficient cost tracking and reporting

Requirements

NQF 6 or a Degree in Information Communication Technology (ICT) field incorporating (but not limited to) Information Systems;
Microsoft or Oracle AWS Certification and
Minimum of 5 years experience in the field of Cloud FinOps Administrator role.

Required Skills:

Minimum of 5 years experience in the field of Cloud FinOps Administrator role.

Required Education:

NQF 6 or a Degree in Information Communication Technology (ICT) field incorporating (but not limited to) Information Systems; Microsoft or Oracle AWS Certification
