About the Role

As a Business Analyst at OBZ youll be the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams ensuring that AI/ML GenAI and data-driven solutions deliver real business outcomes. Youll own requirement gathering workflow mapping and solution validation working closely with architects engineers and product leads to design scalable compliant and measurable solutions.

What Youll Do & The Impact Youll Have

Partner with business stakeholders to define AI/ML problem statements and measurable success criteria.
Translate high-level requirements into structured deliverables (functional specs API specs prompt templates).
Map as-is and to-be workflows identifying automation and AI integration opportunities.
Validate solution designs by testing data pipelines prompts and system responses.
Act as a trusted bridge between business data scientists and engineering teams ensuring alignment on priorities.
Support UAT and go-live readiness by defining test strategies and documenting workflows.
Drive measurable impact by ensuring solutions are compliant efficient and adopted by users.

Requirements

What Youll Bring to the Table

Must-Have Skills:

46 years of experience as a Business Analyst in technology consulting or product-led environments.
Strong background in requirement gathering documentation and stakeholder management.
Ability to translate business needs into functional specifications API contracts and workflow diagrams.
Hands-on experience with SQL and BI tools for exploratory analysis and data validation.
Familiarity with AI/ML project lifecycles (requirements testing validation monitoring).
Excellent communication skills for bridging business and technical stakeholders.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

Exposure to GenAI concepts (prompt engineering LLM workflows evaluation metrics).
Understanding of data governance lineage and compliance requirements.
Familiarity with Python Jupyter or basic scripting for data exploration.
Experience with Agile delivery methods (scrum ceremonies sprint planning).
