Job Summary
The Warehouse Technician helps ensure that materials are received stored and routed correctly within the facility. This position plays an important part in keeping production running smoothly and customer shipments on schedule.
Essential Functions
- Perform visual and physical checks on products and machines
- Read and understand labels and batch records
- Pull materials based on in-house schedule demands
- Record data accurately on tags or schedules
- Use pallet jacks frequently and forklifts occasionally
- Lift and move boxes of product (up to 60 lbs)
- Understand warehouse workflow to support production and shipping
- Follow all SOPs safety regulations and GMP requirements
- Keep work areas clean and organized
- Drive the cross-town truck as needed
- Work overtime weekends or early mornings as required
Qualifications
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid drivers license
- 23 years of related warehouse experience preferred
- Mechanical aptitude and computer skills (ERP familiarity a plus)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Dependable detail-oriented and safety-focused
Physical Requirements
- Frequent standing walking and lifting up to 60 lbs
- Frequent bending reaching and pushing/pulling
- Normal vision and hearing manual dexterity and ability to perform basic math
