Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of goals for hospice services ensuring alignment with organizational mission and patient care standards.
- Oversee daily operations including staff management budget maintenance and compliance with healthcare regulations at local state and federal levels.
- Recruit hire and mentor qualified staff fostering a culture of excellence and compassion.
- Ensure effective communication with patients families and healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
- Monitor hospice census and staffing patterns to ensure adequate resource allocation and service delivery.
- Manage financial operations including budgeting billing and financial reporting.
- Lead quality improvement initiatives and ensure adherence to organizational policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Current RN license required with a preference for candidates with executive director-level hospice leadership experience.
- Minimum of three years in healthcare and five years in a leadership role preferably within a hospice or similar setting.
- Proven business development and growth capabilities.
- Licensed physician registered nurse social worker or a Bachelors degree with at least three years of documented success in the relevant field.
- Current CPR certification required for those providing direct patient services.
- Valid drivers license vehicle insurance and access to reliable transportation.
