About the role...

Our people are the most valuable asset that helps us shape and grow our crown jewel the worlds most loved education app. As a Technical Recruiter at Duolingo youll help grow the teams that bring our products to life by hiring exceptional Software Engineers and Mobile Developers. You will...

Manage full-cycle recruiting for Software Engineering and Mobile roles across multiple locations with the flexibility to expand into Data Science AI or Product
Build and maintain a diverse pipeline of top engineering talent using a mix of strategic sourcing networking and creative outreach.
Partner with hiring managers to forecast and meet hiring needs for critical technical teams.
Deliver an exceptional candidate experience train and collaborate with interviewers to uphold Duolingos values and hiring standards.
Support employer branding efforts that resonate with technical audiences and highlight our engineering culture.
Use data and insights to track recruiting performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency quality and inclusivity.
Stay on top of industry and market trends to help Duolingo remain competitive in attracting top mobile and software engineering talent.
Leverage and provide feedback on our recruiting tools and systems to continuously enhance how we source and hire.

You have...

3 years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience with a focus on software engineering and/or mobile roles.
The ability to work from or relocate to Pittsburgh PA.
A bachelors degree.
Demonstrated success in sourcing engaging and nurturing diverse technical talent pipelines.
Excellent organization prioritization and time management skills.
Comfort operating in a fast-paced high-growth environment with evolving priorities.
A balance of accountability adaptability and attention to detail able to manage ambiguity while delivering results.

Exceptional candidates will have...

Experience recruiting for companies known for technical depth and innovation.
A data-informed recruiting mindset balancing speed with candidate quality and experience.
Familiarity with tools like Textio Gem and Greenhouse.
A deep understanding of technical recruiting best practices and employer branding principles.

We post a multi-level salary range for all of our roles.

This is not inclusive of the rest of our awesome portfolio that includes equity compensation and world-class benefits. Our salary ranges are the same for all US locations. Your recruiter can share more details about the range for a specific level during the hiring process. The actual salary within the range is determined by many factors including but not limited to skills experience education and internal equity.
