Product Development Engineer

THE OPPORTUNITY:

This role will be responsible for the product development of single-use consumables and hardware across upstream to downstream in bioprocessing. The role will assist the Product Development Group Manager to complete the whole process of product from project initiation to market launch and sales. With problem-solving as the core manage various resources and information and efficiently convert business needs into actual product output.

WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR:

Bachelors degree Biochemistry Biology applied chemistry or related Science degree. Master is better.

EXPERIENCE:

Minimum 6 years experience in bioprocess industry.

Deep understanding of Bioprocessing portfolio and market trend.

Product development and project management experience is must.

THOSE NECESSARY TO PERFORM THE JOB COMPETENTLY:

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Be familiar with the selection and verification of common raw materials in the field of single-use product family.
• Excellent problem-solving skills strategic thinking and decision-making abilities to overcome project challenges and achieve project objectives.
• Know about processes such as injection molding machining and extrusion;
• Know about structural design and know about drawing software like SolidWorks CAD;
• Good product management skills.
• Good presentation skills.
• Strong teamwork spirit and capabilities.
  

HOW YOU WILL THRIVE AND CREATE AN IMPACT:

• Lead the single-use products development from design and validation to launch.
• Be responsible for the full life cycle management of product development projects from 0 to 1.
• Work closely with internal/external team to complete product target.
• Define product positioning based on the application from customer side and business needs.
• Have a good understanding of regulations and QA knowledge and make sure that products comply with relevant industry regulations and standards.
• Develop positive working relationships with sales and marketing understand the trend and customers requirement.
• Other duties as assigned with or without accommodation.
