Job Summary
JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a skilled financial accountant to maintain our financial records and ensure compliance with accounting regulations at our company
- Review month end financial reports from our investment custodian and record the investment income and assets in our General Ledger.
- Must be able to prepare monthly financials on a regular basis and help prepare year - end financial statements that get presented to the Board of trustees.
- Assist the Finance Manager in the preparation of the formsT and 990PF also reviews approves and signs off on requests for copies.
- Muse be capable of utilizing State Streets website on a regular basis to interact and download investment reports that are used for various tasks including the preparation of the yearend financial and cash flow statement.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Experience Skills and Qualifications
- A bachelors degree in accounting is required.
- 4 years of experience in the accounting profession.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles practices and procedures.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial data analysis and reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook Excel Word).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred skills and qualifications
- Experience in financial and non for profit Accounting.
- Experience in a multinational or cross-cultural work environment.
- Knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Great organizational and time management skills.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time onsite exempt position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
