Salary Rate:
Level 1 (Entry level up to 2 years of direct experience): $55129 a year
Level II (3 years of direct experience): $59209 a year
Bilingual premium for qualifying languages is 3.5% higher than starting salary if pass bilingual exam on first week of hire.

Position Summary: The CHII Lead plays a key role in advancing CHNs mission to deliver innovative client-centered and equitable health and social services to people living with HIV (PLWH) and other marginalized communities including PLWH 50 years and older. The CHII Lead is responsible for ensuring food bank operations are efficient compliant and aligned with program and department goals while also building sustainable strategies to address food insecurity among collaboration with the Client Services Manager the position supervises the Denver Food Bank Coordinators this includes supporting day-to-day operations quality improvement and volunteer addition the Lead provides vision and leadership for the Community Health Innovations & Integration department with a specific focus on integrating geriatric and HIV care across CHNs six regional offices. Working in collaboration with the CHII Services Manager the CHII Director and the Client Services Department team the Lead will assist in identifying designing and expanding CHII programming. This includes cultivating internal and external partnerships supporting new program implementation and ensuring alignment with CHNs strategic priorities around equity aging and population addition the Lead will oversee coordination and reporting for grant-funded initiatives serving as a central point of accountability to ensure deliverables are met data are accurately collected and program outcomes are clearly communicated to funders and CHN leadership. The CHII Lead is essential in bridging operational management with program development. This individual will also serve as a link between team members and upper management to ensure compliance with internal and external standards of care and assist in maintaining the integrity of services. This is a hands-on position that requires regular shifts in the food bank including driving a box truck to pick up bulk food orders.

Qualifications:
Must be able to work in a diverse setting with diverse populations including sexual orientation. Comfortable discussing sexual health and harm reduction strategies through a sex-positive and affirming framework. Ability to uphold respect for the clients autonomy to make decisions about their health and wellness. Ability to communicate well with medical providers community members and support staff. Experience in systems navigation motivational interviewing and working with confidential information. Must have a current and valid Colorado drivers license and be able to be insured on CHNs vehicle insurance policy. This position is contingent on passing a Department of Transportation (DOT) Physical examination. Must have a reliable personal vehicle that can be utilized in the course of doing business for CHN and have insurance on said vehicle. Must be able to drive load and unload a box truck and other vehicles as necessary. Must be able to utilize a pallet jack
Education:
Bachelors degree in Human Services Public Health Social Work or a related field required Masters degree preferred. Candidates with lived experience can substitute educational background.
Software Utilized:
Experience working with basic office and database computer programs including familiarity with Microsoft Outlook Word Excel Access SharePoint and the internet.
Knowledge Skill and Ability:
Ability to prioritize tasks and function independently as well as show leadership when training new staff and volunteers. Possess the ability to share workload creative ideas and actively participate in a team environment. Excellent communication client relations and management skills. Highly organized and detail oriented. This position requires personal and professional accountability; self-management and initiative; dedication to quality improvement professional integrity research ethics and cultural competency. Must demonstrate accuracy efficiency and excellent organizational skills. Must demonstrate effectiveness in the following areas: task management; teamwork; time management; and communication with teams managers clients and company consultants.
Material and Equipment Directly Used:
Works with standard office equipment including computer workstation printers copiers scanners and fax machine. Works with word processing software spreadsheet applications and presentation software. Communicates with clients and vendors using the telephone e-mail the Internet and fax.
Physical Demands and Work Conditions:
Works in an office environment. May travel via automobile or airplane to offsite locations or for CHN business. Must have and maintain a valid Colorado drivers license and auto insurance on personal vehicle. Works with standard office equipment including computer work station printers copiers scanners and fax machine. Communicates with clients and vendors using the telephone e-mail the Internet and fax. Requires clear speaking ability and the ability to use a telephone for extended periods. Requires ability to view a computer screen (near acuity). Requires fingering agility for keyboarding. The ability to sit stand and engage in extended periods of screen time or communication by phone is necessary to perform the essential duties of the role.
