Job Description:
Two positions availble at West Kelowna BC location:
1 - 30 hours per week - Tuesday thru Saturday 9:00am - 3:30pm (half hour unpaid lunch)
1 - 30 hours per week - Tuesday thru Saturday 3:00 - 9:30pm (half hour unpaid lunch)
(hours will fluctuate)
Position Purpose summary:
The Salvation Army Christmas Kettle Campaign is part of a century old tradition to contribute towards building strong communities by helping TSA to give hope to other.
Kettle Runner position is a short-term contract position. The successful candidate is responsible for oversight of several Christmas Kettle locations in a given geographical zone area. Zone locations include shopping malls grocery stores and retail outlets.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Incumbent may perform all some or similar range of duties as below.
Respond to questions/queries from volunteers and site hosts.

Internal: TSA staff members Kettle campaign team
External: Community members
MANAGERIAL RESPONSIBILITY:
FINANCIAL AND MATERIALS MANAGEMENT:
Collect donations in accordance with policies and procedures ensuring donations are always kept secure.
Working Conditions:
Work environment is a typical office environment and typically in malls/stores

A minimum of one year of related experience or working in customer service
Money handling experience is an asset

Compensation:
The target hiring range for this position is $17.85 to $20.64 with a maximum of $24.77.Placement in the salary range will be based on factors such as market conditions internal equity and candidate experience skills and qualifications relevant to the role.
