We are currently looking for a Human Resources Generalist to join our HR team in Sofia. This role is ideal for a well-organized and reliable professional with a solid background in HR administration and payroll who is also comfortable supporting a wide range of HR activities.

Main Responsibilities

  • Administer all employment-related documentation and maintain accurate employee records.
  • Coordinate the monthly payroll process ensuring full compliance with legal and company requirements.
  • Support benefits administration time off tracking and employee data management.
  • Assist with recruitment activities when needed (job postings scheduling communication with candidates).
  • Prepare and submit reports to internal stakeholders and external authorities.
  • Maintain and update employee information in Workday or other HR systems.
  • Contribute to HR projects and process improvements in collaboration with the HR Director.



Requirements
  • Approximately 5 years of experience in a similar HR role with a strong focus on administration and payroll.
  • Excellent knowledge of Bulgarian labour law social security and statutory reporting requirements.
  • Experience with Workday or other HR information systems
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office especially Excel and Word.
  • Experience with payroll software or coordination with payroll providers.
  • Fluent English (written and spoken); French is considered a strong advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Proactive dependable and adaptable team player.
