Location: Doncaster Royal Infirmary
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: Competitive aligned with NHS Band 3/4 pay scales
Working Hours: Up to 3 days per week (flexible scheduling available)
Job Overview:
Doncaster Royal Infirmary is seeking a motivated Audiologist to join its paediatric clinic team as a 2nd Tester. This role is ideal for an Audiologist looking to support hearing assessments for children under 5 working alongside experienced clinicians in a dynamic and caring environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist lead Audiologists in conducting hearing tests for children under 5
- Support paediatric audiology clinics with preparation and setup
- Operate and maintain audiological equipment
- Ensure accurate documentation of test results and patient interactions
- Provide a calm and reassuring presence for young patients and their families
- Collaborate with the wider paediatric and audiology teams to ensure efficient clinic operations
Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience working as an Audiologist or in a related clinical support role
- Relevant qualifications in Audiology or Health and Social Care (NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills especially with children and families
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced paediatric setting
- Previous experience in paediatric audiology is highly desirable
