Job Summary
Custodian Gorno Ford
The Custodian is responsible for maintaining a clean professional and welcoming environment in the dealerships customer-facing and employee areas. This includes regular cleaning and upkeep of the offices break-room and showroom. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work and helps ensure a positive first impression for customers and a comfortable workspace for staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and disinfect office areas desks (as needed) and shared workspace.
- Vacuum sweep and mop floors in offices break-room and showroom.
- Wipe down tables chairs counter tops and fixtures in break-room and waiting areas.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms used by staff and customers.
- Empty trash and recycling bins in all assigned areas.
- Clean glass surfaces including showroom windows and entrance doors.
- Restock restroom and break-room supplies (soap paper towels toilet paper etc.).
- Monitor and report any maintenance issues (leaks damages supply needs).
- Ensure the front entrance and customer lounge are tidy and presentable at all times.
- Follow all safety and cleaning protocols.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous janitorial or custodial experience in a professional or retail setting preferred.
- Knowledge of cleaning products safety protocols and sanitation standards.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
- Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Physically able to lift up to 30 lbs. and perform tasks that require standing bending and walking.
Monday-Friday 7:00 am - 4:00 pm
