Our client operates as a regional packaging and distribution company specializing in abrasives industrial sand products and ice melt products within the Midwest Great Lakes region. As an employee your primary responsibility would involve working on the production line to ensure smooth operations. This entails standing and lifting bags of products onto and off pallets throughout the day. It is important to note that you may frequently and repeatedly lift 50-pound bags of products and stack them on pallets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate specific equipment assigned to you by qualified personnel such as the wrapper palletizer and bagging machines based on the training provided.
- Maintain cleanliness in all work areas by sweeping shoveling and removing any trash or debris.
- Perform all duties in a safe and efficient manner adhering to established safety protocols and guidelines.
- Follow instructions and carry out tasks assigned by supervisors to contribute to the overall success of the operation.
Qualifications
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Age: Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
- Transportation: Applicants must have reliable transportation to commute to work.
- Physical Strength: Applicants must be capable of lifting weights exceeding 50 pounds.
- Endurance: Applicants must be able to stand for extended periods throughout the day.
- Background Check: Applicants must be able to pass a background check as part of the hiring process.
- Drug Screening: Applicants must be able to pass a drug screening test.
