Where Youll Make an Impact
As an Occupational Therapist youll help injured workers re-engage in meaningful work and daily activities through a client-centred holistic approach. Your duties will include:
- Conducting functional capacity assessments and worksite evaluations to identify barriers to work participation
- Developing tailored activity-based rehabilitation programs and recommending workplace modifications
- Educating workers on activity pacing energy conservation and injury prevention strategies
- Case managing complex injuries and producing detailed clinical reports with evidence-based recommendations
