Host Marmelo

As the first and last point of contact for our guests the Host plays a pivotal role in shaping the dining experience. Youll be responsible for creating a warm professional and memorable welcome ensuring guests are seated comfortably and managing the flow of service through effective reservations and seating coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Warmly welcome and farewell all guests with genuine hospitality
• Maintain a well-organised and efficient host station ensuring smooth communication with the service team.
• Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to inquiries or special requests.
• Keep an up-to-date knowledge of menus daily specials and promotions to answer guest queries confidently.
• Assist with administrative duties such as confirming bookings and noting guest preferences.

Qualifications :

About You:

• Two years previous experience as a host/hostess in a luxury or lifestyle establishment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a warm and approachable manner
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask under pressure.
• Confident in using reservation and POS systems (training provided if required)
• Ability to remain calm professional and engaging in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible availability to work evenings weekends and public holidays.
