Job Summary:

As a Bookkeeper at Paladin Drones you will be responsible for managing daily financial transactions maintaining accurate records and supporting the finance team in budgeting and reporting. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the companys financial health and compliance with accounting regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Record and categorize financial transactions in the accounting system.
• Reconcile bank and credit card statements monthly.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable including invoicing and collections.
• Maintain general ledger accounts and perform month-end closing procedures.
• Assist in preparing financial reports including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
• Monitor cash flow and assist in budget tracking.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies procedures and regulatory standards.
• Work with external accountants and auditors as needed.
• Handle payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements.
• Support other administrative and finance-related tasks as required.

Qualifications:

• Associates or Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field preferred.
• Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar financial role.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks Xero) and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and financial regulations.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in a technology or startup environment is a plus.
