The Team
MCFDs community-based Child and Youth Mental Health (CYMH) teams work in partnership with families and communities to foster positive mental health outcomes and well-being for children and youth and their families.
The Role
Child and Youth Mental Health Clinicians (Psychologist) provide a range of specialized services including psychological assessment treatment case management and consultation for children and youth from birth to age 18 and their families. CYMH Clinicians (Psychologist) work in flexible ways providing psychological consultation/education services to community agency staff and other service providers such as physicians schools foster homes child protection probation officers and hospital staff. CYMH Clinicians (Psychologist) also promote evidence-based practice and a positive learning-based culture on the team by participating in program review and evaluation preparing reports and making recommendations for this role the CYMH Clinician (Psychologist) will have an important role in developing treatment plans which include a variety of evidence-based psychological interventions and treatment modalities including individual family and group therapy.

About this Position:
This is a temporary opportunity until 09/04/2026. This position may be extended or become permanent.
Applicants who do not fully meet the required qualifications may be considered for this position but at a lower classification.
This position has full time on-site requirements.
