WHAT YOULL DO:

Perform sonographic scans for multiple modalities: General Echo and Vascular
Commute to various clinic sites in assigned area.
Inspectand reviewpatient chartsreports labresults and medical history.
Create patient reportsto assist the physician with documentation.
Evaluate sonograms to identify or rule-out cardiac/vascular anomalies.
Communicate sonographic findings to physician.
Communicate machine errors or needs to maintain quality machines and imagery.
Restock sonography rooms with required supplies for sonography performance.
Cover a variety of clinical settings including outreach clinics which may involve extended commute times.
Increaseyour knowledge of diseases and new proceduresthrough CMEs.
Other duties assigned by managers.

IS THIS YOU

Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited educational program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography
Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer(RDCS)(RCS)(RCCS)
Experience performing vascular ultrasound exams
Knowledgeable of human anatomy and medical terminology related specialty
Knowledge of applied physics related to ultrasound
Compliant with HIPAA as it relates to the use of EMR systems
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Calm under pressure and compassionate with patients
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship now or in the future

DO YOU SCORE ANY BONUS POINTS

Registered Vascular Technologist Certification (RVT)
Bachelors degree in Sonography or other related fields of study

RISK OF EXPOSURE TO BLOODBORNE PATHOGENS: Category 1 - Tasks involve exposure to blood body fluids or tissues.

This is an hourly non-exempt opportunity.
