Location: Cincinnati OH
Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: MondayFriday 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
Pay Rate: $60 $62 per hour
Position Summary
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Registered OB/GYN Sonographer to perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations in an outpatient clinical setting. This role focuses on Obstetrics and Gynecology including Maternal Fetal Medicine and requires adherence to AIUM and ACOG guidelines. The sonographer will work under the direction of a physician and/or clinical leadership to ensure accurate imaging excellent patient care and compliance with professional standards.
Key Responsibilities
Perform obstetric and gynecologic ultrasound examinations following established protocols
Produce high-quality diagnostic images and accurate exam documentation
Prepare patients and assist physicians during ultrasound-guided procedures
Obtain and review patient history to ensure exam appropriateness
Explain procedures clearly to patients and address questions professionally
Maintain efficient workflow and assist team members as needed
Ensure compliance with HIPAA infection control and safety standards
Maintain accurate order entry exam tracking and image archiving
Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment safely; report maintenance needs
Participate in peer review quality improvement initiatives and departmental meetings
Maintain a clean organized and safe work environment
Required Skills & Experience
Minimum 1 year of experience in high-risk or office-based OB/GYN ultrasound
Proficiency in ultrasound techniques including M-mode pulse and color Doppler
Strong knowledge of fetal anatomy cross-sectional anatomy and medical terminology
Ability to obtain and document vital signs
Experience with PACS and structured reporting systems
Strong customer service and communication skills
Education
Required:
Associates or Bachelors degree in Ultrasound or Allied Health OR
Graduate of an accredited ultrasound training program
Completion of 30 ARDMS CEUs every 3 years
Certifications
RDMS (OB/GYN)
BLS (American Heart Association)
