Job Summary
Registered Nurse Supervisor Full-Time (40 hrs/week)
Open to Out-of-State Candidates (Relocation at No Cost)
Schedule: MondayFriday 8:00 AM 4:00 PM
Position Overview
The RN Supervisor oversees and manages nursing staff to ensure high-quality care regulatory compliance and effective resource utilization. This leadership role supports staff development quality assurance and the overall coordination of nursing operations.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise schedule and manage nursing staff to ensure adequate coverage and optimal performance.
Evaluate and maintain quality standards in nursing functions and Veteran/Member care.
Train mentor and evaluate staff to promote professional growth and compliance.
Ensure adherence to all applicable regulatory and clinical care standards; implement corrective actions as needed.
Participate in committees task forces and leadership initiatives.
Oversee HR functions such as interviewing hiring evaluations and disciplinary actions.
Respond to emergent issues including abuse/neglect allegations elopements and law enforcement matters.
Serve as liaison and support for the Director of Nursing (DON); act on their behalf when required.
Participate in the AMS process and contribute to facility-wide improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Arizona.
Ability to obtain and maintain an AZDPS Fingerprint Clearance Card.
Current negative TB test (within 12 months) or physicians statement of TB clearance.
Proven leadership experience in long-term care or healthcare management preferred.
