USC/GC

15 EXP.

Exclusive role for RTS(High Priority)

Description:

Were looking for a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) application administrator and Id like to explore contract-to-hire options. A couple of bullet points describing the role are below.

  • Our current application administrator is planning to retire and wed like to bring in someone soon to transition knowledge.
  • Our current PLM is Oracle Agile PLM and it is integrated with JD Edwards through a tool commonly used to integrate Agile PLM called Magic XPI.

o Agile PLM experience isnt a concrete requirement but PLM experience is a requirement and Agile would be beneficial.

  • We are piloting a move to a cloud PLM (which would be a multi-year project) so if this role were to be hired theyd be involved in that.
  • PLM development for both Oracle Agile and the pilot cloud PLM is performed by an offshore developer and this role would need to coordinate with that developer.
  • The role would also be responsible for additional less complex materials/inventory management systems and fabrication shop systems.

When we say application administrator these are examples of the things wed expect of them related to their systems.

  • Monitor application performance identify bottlenecks and implement optimizations to ensure high availability and reliability.
  • Provide tier-2/3 support to end-users resolving technical issues and escalating complex problems to vendors or additional IT staff as needed.
  • Manage user access permissions and security configurations in line with company policies and regulatory requirements (e.g. GDPR SOX).
  • Coordinate and execute application updates patches and upgrades including testing in staging environments to minimize downtime.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for application configurations processes and troubleshooting guides.
  • Assess integration requirements between business applications and third-party systems designing and testing interfaces to ensure seamless data flow and interoperability.
  • Perform root cause analysis on application incidents errors and outages documenting findings and recommending preventive measures to improve system resilience.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure systems administrators to ensure optimal server performance network connectivity hardware compatibility and resource allocation for business applications.
  • Partner with database administrators to manage data structures optimize database queries perform data migrations and maintain data integrity across integrated systems.
