Cognition Learning Group is seeking a Project Management Lead to join our Project Management and Mobilisation Office (PMMO). This is a unique opportunity to work on a major government education contract in the Solomon Islands supporting our Programme Director and delivery teams to ensure projects are executed to the highest standards.
About the Role
As a senior member of the PMMO team you will:
- Lead the planning mobilisation and oversight of strategically important client projects.
- Provide expert project management support to Programme Directors ensuring delivery on time within scope and to budget.
- Champion Cognitions project management toolkit ensuring consistent use of systems tools and methodologies.
- Support risk management reporting and assurance processes across the project lifecycle.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and capability building across our global teams.
This role is based in Kuala Lumpur supporting a large-scale education programme in the Solomon Islands. Youll work closely with internal and external stakeholders including government partners and be part of a dynamic mission-driven organisation committed to transforming lives through learning.
What Were Looking For
Were seeking someone who brings:
- A recognised project management qualification (e.g. PRINCE2 PMP PMI) - ESSENTIAL.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g. Microsoft Project Zoho Project etc)
- At least 5 years experience providing high level technical project management support across multi-stakeholder projects ideally in international or public sector contexts.
- Strong planning coordination and reporting skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- A collaborative mindset and commitment to continuous improvement.
