SearchLabs is working on behalf of one of our key business partners in pursuit of top engineering professionals to expand their growing team. Our client is seeking an experienced Associate Principal Mechanical Engineer to join and strengthen their Commercial & Retail sector. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated engineer to take on greater responsibility in technical delivery project leadership client management mentorship and supervision.

Key Responsibilities

Lead project teams in the design and delivery of commercial and retail mechanical systems.
Support the development and execution of sector growth strategies.
Mentor and supervise engineers across multiple levels ensuring technical excellence.
Contribute to business development through proposal writing client presentations and networking.
Ensure projects meet technical quality sustainability and compliance standards.
Collaborate closely with clients architects contractors and other stakeholders.

Qualifications & Skills

Registered Mechanical Engineer (or C.E.T.) with 8 years of consulting engineering experience.
Strong background in mechanical building systems for commercial and retail environments.
Demonstrated leadership skills with a track record of managing projects and mentoring teams.
Solid commercial awareness and business development experience.
Strong technical expertise in HVAC plumbing fire protection energy efficiency and codes.
Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
