Superintendent Commercial Construction
Base Salary: $105000$145000
Project Type: Commercial building construction
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Superintendent to lead field operations on commercial building projects from start to finish. This role is ideal for a hands-on construction professional who takes pride in job site leadership quality execution and schedule-driven results.
What Youll Do
- Oversee all on-site construction activities for commercial building projects
- Manage day-to-day job site operations sequencing and coordination of trades
- Enforce safety standards and maintain a clean organized job site
- Drive project schedules and proactively resolve field issues
- Coordinate inspections material deliveries and subcontractor performance
- Review drawings and specifications to ensure work is completed to plan
- Communicate regularly with Project Managers inspectors and design teams
- Ensure quality control from mobilization through project closeout

Requirements
What Were Looking For
- 7 years of superintendent experience in commercial construction
- Proven background leading commercial building projects (office retail healthcare education mixed-use etc.)
- Strong knowledge of construction means methods and sequencing
- Ability to read and interpret plans specs and schedules
- Experience managing subcontractors and enforcing job site safety
- Strong leadership communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to take ownership of the job site and lead by example

What Were Looking For 7 years of estimating experience in commercial construction Strong background estimating commercial buildings (office retail mixed-use healthcare education etc.) Proven ability to manage estimates from conceptual through hard bid Solid understanding of construction methods materials and market pricing Proficiency with estimating software and Excel Detail-oriented analytical and deadline-driven
