Field Service Technicians are the trusted hands and eyes of our engineering teams solving complex technical challenges while representing the companys values of integrity safety and service excellence.
The Role
Youll join a growing regional team that supports installation commissioning and ongoing maintenance for advanced industrial systems. This position demands a blend of technical skill professional judgment and field adaptability. Youll be traveling to customer facilities across your assigned region with occasional travel outside your territory when project load requires ensuring high-impact service delivery wherever you go.
Key Responsibilities
Perform mechanical electrical and instrumentation maintenance and repair on advanced manufacturing systems.
Lead or assist in installations commissioning and technical troubleshooting at customer sites.
Partner with clients and engineering teams to diagnose system performance issues and implement sustainable solutions.
Maintain accurate documentation service logs and reports to ensure compliance and traceability.
Uphold all safety protocols and company procedures to ensure zero-incident operations.
Represent the company with professionalism technical confidence and customer-first mindset.
Performance Objectives (First 12 Months)
Achieve full operational proficiency across assigned systems within 90 days.
Maintain a 95% customer satisfaction rating on service calls.
Reduce repeat service incidents through proactive diagnosis and root-cause resolution.
Serve as regional point of contact for at least one major client site by end of first year.
Support training or mentorship for new field techs or client operators as needed.
Travel & Territory
Up to 50% overnight travel within your assigned region
Occasional travel outside your primary region to support national project demand (e.g. VA/TN).
Company car and gas card provided.
Requirements
Must have served in the U.S. Army U.S. Navy U.S. Marine Corps U.S. Air Force U.S. Coast Guard U.S. Space Force U.S. Reserves or U.S. National Guard.
Basic understanding of electrical theory (voltage current safety protocols)
Strong communication and time management skills
Ability to lift up to 100lbs (team lift standard); repeated lifting during battery replacements
Willingness to travel extensively (50% during training phase). This is primarily to Portland for OJT.
Valid drivers license and clean record
Familiarity with electrical schematics and manuals but knows how to think beyond them

Ability to adhere to an SOP. Strong communication skills. Ability to maintain bearing in stressful situations. No degree is needed.
