Essential Job Duties
- Work closely with all department leaders to oversee the overnight operations of the hotel.
- Review work assignments of employees and make adjustments as business needs.
- Work closely with department leaders to control labor and productivity.
- Respond to emergency situations and work with local authorities.
- Supervise the staff and handle associate situations.
- Welcome and register guests expeditiously provide information to guests as
needed obtain identification and credit/check approval as directed by hotel policy
verify rate and departure date confirm and modify information required to complete
the registration process per hotel procedures. - Maintain efficiency in the operation of the staff in a high standard of quality of service and courtesy bringing total satisfaction to our guests and the hotel.
- Prepare and submit incident accident or injury reports when needed.
- Follow 4 Keys service standards standard operation procedures and safety standards.
- Follow safety and security procedures.
- Work cohesively with co-workers and all departments as part of a team.
- Follow all appropriate policies and procedures while constantly striving to improve standards of operations.
- Adhere to attendance and reliability standards.
- Follow all additional duties as assigned by management.
- Maintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent hotel data.
- Strong leadership skills and has the ability to apply them.
Work Hours
- Will be required to work an overnight scheduled and other shifts based on business needs.
- Scheduling includes holidays nights overnights and weekends depending on hotel events and functions.
Skills and Abilities
- Understand the mission vision and goals of the hotel.
- Must be able to prioritize and work efficiently with limited supervision.
- Must be able to speak understand and communicate utilizing the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
- Requires good communication skills both verbal and written.
- Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 4 hours in length.
- Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis.
- Must be able to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to bend stoop squat and stretch to fulfill cleaning tasks.
- Requires grasping writing standing sitting walking repetitive motions bending climbing listening and hearing ability and visual acuity.
- Talking and hearing occur continuously in the process of communicating with guests supervisors and other employees.
- Strong team player able to partner with management and other employees in a professional manner.
Physical Requirements
The minimum physical requirements for this position include but are not limited to:
- Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds frequently to assist guests
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Ability to hear understand and communicate orally and in writing to communicate with staff vendors and guests a normal in-person and phone conversation
- Ability to bend and twist push and pull stoop and kneel
- Ascend and descend a ladder
