Fast-paced bottling plant is seeking a Manufacturing Operations Manager to oversee production of a multi-shift packaging and filling operation. Daily you will coach and oversee multiple shifts to achieve production and delivery goals. Your responsibilities will include:

Lead your team by example and coach mentor and develop direct and indirect reports to exceed their individual and company goals
Lead continuous improvement 5S and Lean programs at the site to drive engagement and efficiency
Ensure that key performance indicators are in place and work on monitoring and improving KPIs based on safety quality productivity and cost
Promoting a safety oriented culture and working to improve safety metrics
Execute plant efforts to ensure customer expectations are met; foster and improve customer communication
Partner with maintenance teams on preventative and predictive maintenance efforts with the goal of decreasing equipment downtime
Work with the engineering team on CapEx projects to complete in a timely manner and on budget
Complete required daily and monthly reporting
Communicate with customers to resolve any challenges and provide updates on progress
Other duties as directed by management

The company is seeking a candidate that enjoys spending up to 25-30% of their day on the bottling floor. Candidates should enjoy being hands on and leading by example be able to hold others accountable able to establish trust with peers and team members able to create buy-in and be energetic about their position and the company. The qualified individual will be passionate about continuous improvement and improving KPIs based on data-driven information. REQUIREMENTS for the Manufacturing Operations Manager:
1. Bachelors degree in a technical field; Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering highly preferred

2. At least five years of similar bottling operations management experience including packaging and filling processes

3. Experience overseeing direct and indirect reports

4. A proven track record of measurable continuous improvements

5. Experience working with ERP systems

6. Microsoft Office skills including Word and Excel

Skills preferred but NOT required:
1. Formal Lean and/or Six Sigma training or certifications

2. Power BI experience
