The Email Marketing Strategist reports to the Sr. Manager e-Business and will be essential to the email marketing campaign planning and implementation process for the Thermo Fisher Scientific Microbiology Division.

In this role you will collaborate with a cross-functional team made up of e-Business market development regional marketing and product management colleagues to design launch and analyze multifaceted engaging email strategies that nurture and convert leads into revenue.

A day in the Life:

• Conceptualise create and implement email marketing campaigns.
• Guide marketing team through email marketing standards
• Build and update email campaigns from concept and design to launch and analysis
• Ensure appropriate review and approval of email campaign assets.
• Maintain data quality in email database and support alignment with CRM system.
• Leverage the marketing database for effective campaign segmenting and targeting.
• Coordinate with marketing colleagues to ensure integration with other digital marketing channels and analytical tracking.
• Generate reports analyze results derive insights and develop strategies for how to improve future initiatives.
• Ensure global compliance and opt-in policies across all email communications
• Stay current and implement digital marketing trends

Education

• Bachelors degree in marketing digital marketing or related subject area preferred

Experience

• Familiarity with Eloqua AEM desirable
• Comfortable with scientific topics would be beneficial
• Working in global matrix organization

Knowledge Skills Abilities

• Experience using Eloqua at a system administrator level including data management (Marketo HubSpot and MarketingCloud would also be considered)
• CRM experience
• Excellent written English
