Manager Risk Consulting
The opportunity
As a Manager inEYs Risk Consulting practice you will work with a variety of public and private sector clients supporting them in the evaluation and improvement of their key strategic operational compliance and financial related risks and controls.
This is a hybrid positionbased inBoorloo Perth
Your key responsibilities
- You will support the delivery of internal audit engagements by performing process walkthroughs controls testing data analytics and supporting the preparation of reports.
- You will assess the clients current state processes and controls and identify opportunities to mitigate risk as well as improve process efficiency effectiveness and business performance
- You will be provided with the opportunity to work across multiple client accounts with engagement teams comprised of high performing individuals with a variety of skill and expertise
- You will be supported to develop your skills and experience in the professional practice of internal audit and broader risk consulting
Skills and attributes for success
- 5 Years Minimum experience
- Proven ability to lead a team and support the development of more junior members.
- Ability to build constructive working relationships with colleagues across the business supporting one another and promoting a truly collaborative culture
- Ability to build trusted relationships with client stakeholders to better understand their business priorities and provide tailored insights -manage client expectations manage engagement economics and timeframes lead engagement scoping and reporting activities
- Ability to apply a structured and diligent approach to project management and documentation with a demonstrated understanding of risk-based auditing methodologies
- A strong desire to support the ongoing evolution of the Internal Audit profession through innovative techniques underpinned by Artificial Intelligence and other emerging technology
- Prior experience working for a large public private or professional services organisation as an Internal Auditor Risk Analyst or similar role
