Production Inventory Coordinator Team Lead

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) Fabrication is seeking a Production Inventory Coordinator Team Lead (Level C) to join our Fulfillment Team in Orangeburg South Carolina on 1st Shift.

This 100% onsite role involves leading a team responsible for material handling shipping/receiving hazardous material management and tool compliance.

Position Responsibilities:

• Creates standardized work and coaches leads and guides team members

• Assigns work and set priorities; monitors assignments

• Reviews completed jobs; provides job specific technical coaching and mentoring

• Provides and/or recommends technical training

• Serves as consultant advisor or SME (Subject Matter Expert). Supports evaluates and implements alternate solutions to work related issues

• Leads team to systematically problem solve when abnormalities occur. Serve as department representative for special projects

• Assists in the development implementation and maintenance of program plans to accomplish the departments specific objectives

• Represents the team in managements absence

• Provides feedback to management on individuals performance in their work related assignments

• Possesses and encourages others to have a mindset of Safety and First Pass Quality

• Exhibits the Boeing Behaviors

Required Qualifications (Basic Skills/Experience):

• Forklift license or ability to obtain

• Ability to lift push and pull up to 35 pounds frequently within an 8 hour shift

• Ability to walk stand climb and descend stairs bend and lift items package materials and unload materials from containers frequently throughout the shift

• 3 years of experience using Microsoft Office applications

• 1 years of informal / formal leadership experience

• 1 years of experience with inventory control

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• 3 years of experience with CMES and ERPLN

• 3 years of experience supporting Operations Materials Management and/or Supply Chain functions in a production environment

• 3 years of experience coaching and teaching others

• Professional written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to implement strategic plans

• Experience managing metrics and team workload/priorities

• High school diploma or GED

Shift:

This position is for 1st shift. Willingness to work any shift based on future business needs & overtime as needed will be required.
