Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to lead and optimize our global sourcing vendor management and procurement operations. You will play a critical role in ensuring that Axelera AIs supply chain is robust cost-effective and aligned with our rapid growth and innovation goals.
This position will oversee the procurement of semiconductor components PCBs systems and services across multiple suppliers and manufacturing partners ensuring high quality timely delivery and compliance with company standards.
The ideal candidate has solid experience in hardware or semiconductor procurement with a proven ability to manage complex supplier networks and drive operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute procurement strategies for semiconductor components PCBs systems and supporting materials
Manage supplier relationships negotiate contracts and ensure optimal cost quality and delivery performance
Collaborate closely with Operations Engineering Product and Finance teams to align sourcing with business needs
Monitor supplier performance lead supplier audits and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Identify and mitigate supply chain risks ensuring continuity and resilience
Manage procurement planning purchase orders and inventory coordination with logistics partners
Implement scalable processes tools and KPIs for efficient and transparent procurement operations
Support sustainability and compliance goals across the supply chain
Requirements
7 years of experience in procurement sourcing or supply chain management within the hardware semiconductor or electronics industry
Strong understanding of the fabless semiconductor supply model and hardware manufacturing ecosystems
Proven experience in supplier negotiation contract management and cost optimization
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions
Excellent collaboration and communication abilities across technical and business teams
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with ERP systems and digital procurement tools
Familiarity with ISO standards sustainability practices and compliance in global supply chains
Background in a high-growth or scale-up environment
Location
We offer a flexible working arrangement with options to:
Work from one of our Axelera AI offices (Leuven in Belgium Amsterdam and Eindhoven in the Netherlands Florence and Milan in Italy or Bristol in the United Kingdom) if youre already based in the vicinity.
Work fully remotely from any European country (incl. the UK) you are already in.
Relocate with us and work from Italy (Florence or Milan) or the Netherlands (Amsterdam or Eindhoven).
