What you are going to do

As Manager Delegated Authority Underwriting you lead the Underwriting team and are the driving force behind a group of 28 professionals. Together you ensure optimal service for our cover holders and manage as well as grow our portfolio. This portfolio is diverse and includes multiple lines of business: liability & miscellaneous property motor and transport both personal and commercial products. NN also works with pool and white-label products from cover holders. It is a portfolio of considerable size with a value of more than 1 billion.

You provide daily operational leadership development and coaching for the team
You contribute to strategic decision-making
You focus on improving and optimizing processes to achieve long-term results
You use AI digitalization and data to make your teams work increasingly efficient
Together with your colleagues in the Delegated Authority management team you build a Future Ready department

Who you are

You are energetic connecting positively critical stress-resistant open to change and possess strong analytical and numerical addition you have:

Fluent in both English and Dutch spoken and written
Leadership experience and strength in both operational and strategic management.
Experience in change management and guiding teams through transitions
Knowledge of digitalization and AI techniques and the ability to translate these into practical applications
A true business partner mindset for management and stakeholders

Furthermore we expect:

A bachelors or masters degree and at least 4 years of leadership experience
WFT Basis/Zakelijk
Solid knowledge of Excel Outlook and Word and the ability to quickly navigate other systems

Who you will work with

In addition to your team you are part of the Delegated Authority management team which includes the Senior Manager Delegated Authority & Market and the Manager Strategy & Control. You will also collaborate closely with other departments within Intermediary Non-Life such as Product Management & Expertise.
