As the Manager Talent Acquisition for APAC youll lead and develop a team of 4 recruiters focused on hiring exceptional talent across Engineering Product Customer Success and key corporate functions. Youll partner closely with APAC business leaders to define priorities build strong talent pipelines and ensure Appian continues to be recognized as a top employer across the region.

This role reports to the Director of EMEA & APJ Talent Acquisition and offers broad visibility across the TA and People teams as well as direct impact on Appians growth across the regions.


What Youll Do

  • Lead coach and develop a high-performing recruiting team ensuring delivery against regional hiring goals.
  • Partner with business leaders across APJ to align on workforce plans and hiring priorities.
  • Build and execute innovative data-driven recruiting strategies tailored to diverse markets within the region.
  • Ensure a consistent flow of high-caliber talent while maintaining an exceptional candidate experience.
  • Track analyze and present hiring progress pipeline health and market insights to senior stakeholders.
  • Partner with the Employer Brand team to enhance Appians profile as an employer of choice across India and APJ.
  • Continuously improve interview selection offer and onboarding processes with a focus on operational excellence.


What You Need to Succeed

  • 8 years of full lifecycle recruiting experience in a fast-paced high-growth environment.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence collaborate and build trusted relationships with senior leaders.
  • 5 years of people management experience ideally leading teams acrossIndia (Chennai preferred) and other APACmarkets.
  • Proven success hiring across technical consulting and customer-facing roles.
  • Deep understanding of regional hiring dynamics cultural nuances and market trends across APJ.
  • Proficiency with ATS and sourcing tools (e.g. Greenhouse Workday LinkedIn Recruiter etc.).
