Its an exciting time to join our dynamic Commercial Marketing team at Saputo Dairy Australia (SDA) and play a pivotal role in driving profitability and brand growth! As the Assistant Brand Manager of incredible brands like CHEER and Cracker Barrel within our Everyday Cheese category you will be responsible for the assisting with the strategic planning and execution of our brand plans.We have some big plans ahead so this is a great to join us and make a real impact!
The Assistant Brand Manager is responsible for actively supporting the planning and execution of all aspects of the marketing mix for the dedicated product portfolio and contributing to the development of the strategic direction of the brand in line with business and brand objectives. Youll work closely with the broader commercial and brand teams to ensure seamless in-market execution while also measuring performance tracking results and driving continuous improvement efficiency and investment. We offer a Hybrid working arrangement- 3 days in our Southbank Office and 2 days WFH.
This is a 12-month Fixed Term Contract
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic & Portfolio Management: Support portfolio growth through strategic planning pricing and cross-functional collaboration.
Commercial Acumen: Drive P&L improvements manage budgets and optimize pricing for volume and value.
Innovation Leadership: Shape innovation strategy and lead NPD/product improvement projects from concept to launch.
Brand Strategy & Communication: Strengthen brand equity develop compelling propositions and deliver integrated campaigns with agency partners.
Digital & Social Media: Manage engaging social content and support digital campaign execution.
Channel & Retailer Development: Translate brand strategy into channel/customer plans and support sales teams with tailored marketing
What youll bring:
Tertiary and or Postgraduate qualifications in Commerce or Marketing
23 years in FMCG marketing experience
A passion for brands and consumer marketing
Proactive and agile ability to work autonomously with a high level of initiative to drive results cross functionally
Strong communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to adapt to relevant audiences both internal and external
Strong commercial acumen with experience managing P&Ls and budgets and a data-driven mindset with a passion for innovation and brand building
Team player and ability to demonstrate strong cross functional skills
