CNS - Risk - Digital Risk :

EY Consulting is made up of three sub-service lines: Business Consulting (including Performance Improvement and Risk Consulting) Technology Consulting and People Advisory Services.

We help our clients in identifying and managing the interplay between upside and downside risk in order to make the long-term decisions to prevent risk and impact on their organizations ability to meet its future business strategy and objectives. The 3 key fields of play are :

Enterprise Risk - helps clients identify and address key risk areas while building the agility to respond quickly. The areas of focus include Enterprise risk and resilience Internal audit Compliance and Internal controls

Technology Risk - helps clients to achieve sustainable growth by supporting their efforts to protect their business performance and by providing trusted communications on internal control and regulatory compliance to investors management regulators customers and other stakeholders. EY teams accomplish this by assessing the technology risks that are introduced to businesses.

Financial Services Risk - helps clients in the financial sector to identify manage and monitor the risks in their business. It is done through a transformative and agile approach including process and procedures risk data modeling and analytics reporting to stakeholders and third parties business requirements (for software selection and IT implementation) analysis of assets and liabilities and capital and liquidity management.

Your key responsibilities

• Use knowledge of the current IT environment and industry IT trends to identify the engagement and client service issues and communicate this information to the engagement team and client management through written correspondence and verbal presentations
• Demonstrate and apply strong project management skills inspire teamwork and responsibility with engagement team members and use current technology and tools to enhance the effectiveness of deliverables and services

• Performing third party risks assessment on behalf of our clients over the outsourced processes
• Handling key activities of assessment life cycle: scoping planning fieldwork execution reporting QA and issue tracking
• Assess findings and articulating the risks in the context of a clients risk management framework and recommend areas of improvement
• Determine that the work delivered is of high quality.
• Anticipate and identify engagement related risks and escalate issues as appropriate.
• Actively establish & strengthen client (functional heads & key influencers) and internal relationships.
• Assist seniors & managers in developing new methodologies and internal initiatives.
• Create a positive learning culture coaches counsels and develops junior team members.
• Identify & escalate potential business opportunities for the firm on existing client engagements
• Execution on client engagements - Ensure quality delivery as per client requirements.
• Review of working papers & client folders. Suggest ideas on improving engagement productivity and identify opportunities for improving client service.
• Identify areas requiring improvement in the clients business processes to enable preparation of recommendations.
• Preparation of reports/deliverables/status updates/audit committee presentations.
• Demonstrate ability of multi-task and manage multiple projects as directed by the managers.
• Ensure compliance with engagement plans and internal quality & risk management procedures.

• Proactively participate in market development activities build proposals and actively support pursuits
• Must be able to build solutions for client requirements and internal process efficiencies
• Manage the financial aspects of client engagements and communicate significant issues fees billing and collections and estimates-to-complete to Partners and Client
• Follow firms quality/ risk management guidance and apply them on day-to-day client service delivery
• Proactively identify opportunities to better serve clients and continuously engage with client to be a trusted business advisor
• Contribute to enhancing Technology Risk solution and future proof them build technology assets that can serve client needs
• Develop people through effectively supervising coaching and mentoring all levels of staff
• Conduct performance reviews and contribute to performance feedback for all levels of staff
• Contribute to people-related initiatives including recruiting retaining and training Risk professionals
• Self-starter and proactively learn new and emerging trends in the field of Technology Risk

To qualify for the role you must have

• A recognized university degree in business information technology engineering or other relevant discipline
• Minimum of3 years of work experience in Third Party Risk Management domain in reputed MNC or Consulting firms
• Relevant consulting or industry experience preferably in a professional services environment or MNC
• Focus on Financial Services clients and knowledge of Financial Services industry
• Strong client facing experience
• Acumen for business development and technical delivery
• Project management skills and able to manage concurrent engagements as a Lead
• Served global clients across all three lines of defence
• Ability to adapt to different client situation and bring best outcome in difficult situations
• Leadership teamwork and client service skills
• Demonstrated integrity within a professional environment
• Good networking skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills
• Flexibility for travel
