By joining us as a Counter Fraud & Corruption Support Officer youll help protect public funds strengthen trust and ensure our services deliver real value for the people of Norfolk. Working alongside experienced professionals youll support the Organisational Counter Fraud and Corruption Lead to deliver our counter-fraud and whistleblowing strategiesinvestigating concerns promoting transparency and embedding a culture of integrity across the organisation.
What youll do
Conduct and report on fraud corruption and whistleblowing investigations ensuring evidence meets professional standards.
Support the development and promotion of policies on Counter Fraud Whistleblowing Anti-Money Laundering and Modern Slavery.
Follow up on identified risks and escalate where necessary.
Maintain accurate case files and whistleblowing frameworks in line with GDPR.
Promote a culture of transparency and accountability through awareness and education programmes.
About you
Strong problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and relationship-building ability.
Confidence with data analysis and Microsoft applications.
Knowledge of data protection and confidentiality.
Accreditation in investigative practices (or willingness to work towards it) and a good standard of education (2 Alevels or equivalent).
Willingness to travel to locations both inside and outside Norfolk and hold a full driving license.
